Social Media Minute- Quality, NOT Quantity!
Do you obsess about the number of fans on your Facebook page, Google Plus or Twitter? Stop. No, seriously, I mean it. The truth is, it really doesn't matter if you have 20 or 20,000 fans if you are not growing a quality fan base who's actually interested in the products or services you have to offer, you are wasting your time my friend. Sure, fans and followers are great for social proof and amplifying your reach. Don't get me wrong, having a large number of fans is a great thing; however, focusing solely on the numbers will get you nowhere. If you want to grow your leads by integrating social media you have to attract a fan base that is interested and engages with your content. So, the next time you are obsessing about a number of fans you have, ask yourself "Am I really attracting a quality fan base or just playing a numbers game?"
